Scholarship Recipients 2018
2018 Scholarship Recipients
On May 3, 2018, Cindy and I awarded our second set of scholarships from the Griffin Moody Scholarship Fund. We are very proud and excited to announce that Constance Oswald and Marc Moreira are this year’s winners! This year we had 24 students apply for our scholarship, and as always, it was very difficult to narrow that list down to the final eight that we interviewed. Then, the process became even more difficult as we interviewed the final eight students, and finally chose Constance and Marc. Both Constance and Marc are outstanding students and individuals, as you can read below. We are most proud and happy to be able to help them pursue their dreams of not only attending college, but thriving and becoming successful citizens. As before, Cindy and I think Griffin would be very pleased with our selection of Constance and Marc.
Constance Oswald
Constance was a member of the National Honor Society, and ranked at the top of her class academically. She was a four-year member of the nationally ranked Nease JROTC program. Constance was a member of the Nease Student Council (student body Vice-President), the Junior Ladies, Senior Women, and Link Crew.
